Our mission is to offer comprehensive preventative and diagnostic care, to practice quality medicine, and to remain skilled surgeons. We are committed to the well-being of our patients, the challenge of their illnesses, and the concerns of our clients. Essex Middle River Veterinary Center has served the Greater Essex area for over 50 years.  
Essex Dog & Cat Hospital changed its name to Essex Middle River Veterinary Center in 2007. This new name better identifies our geographical location between Essex and Middle River and reflects the changing demographics of our area. The more modern term "Veterinary Center" better depicts the full service, comprehensive, state-of-the-art, 20-plus staff hospital we are. We want to assure you that while our name has changed, you can expect the same quality staff and compassionate care and services that we pride ourselves in providing.
